PROPOSAL (2/21/24 - 7/10/24)
I will be creating Choose Your Own Adventure style horror-comedy videos, with the help of the program Twine or Eko. The viewer will follow the protagonist through a harrowing adventure. This will involve the creation of 12 short videos, with each run-through of the different videos/choices hopefully being 2-5 minutes.
There are currently five different endings, with several different routes. There are three good endings and two bad endings. In the two bad endings, the player/viewer dies, while in the three good endings, the player gets away, with one ending being considered the ‘true’ ending (where the doll is given a friend). The story will loosely follow a player/viewer finding a doll in a trunk in their basement, and then blacking out, waking up in a forest being hunted down by the doll. In a series of choices the viewer will determine their own fate, either slipping up and getting killed by the doll, escaping it, or another option entirely.
